Jeff Paul

MC Jeff Paul will kick things off at 730pm. With his unmistakable charm, Jeff Paul pushes the boundaries of comedy leaving no topics off limit. Jeff’s quick wit and unrestrained attitude often result in raw, embarrassing stories at his own expense. Jeff has opened for Louis CK, Gilbert Gottfried, and K.Trevor Wilson, was selected for New Faces at JFL42 in Toronto, and is the founder of the Icebreakers Comedy Festival in his hometown of Niagara-on-the-Lake. His debut album “Delightfully Dark” is available through Comedy Records and on all streaming sites.

Laura Leibow

Laura Leibow has used her acerbic wit and laid back style to become a promising fresh face on the Canadian stand-up comedy scene.  She is the editor of the comedy website "UNoriginal", a signed Yuk Yuk’s comedian, and is frequently played on SiriusXM. Laura has performed at JFL42, She-Devil Comedy Festival, the Sacramento Comedy Festival, and Icebreakers Comedy Festival. Laura has been impressing crowds in clubs and theatres from Toronto to New York since debuting in 2015, and has performed at legendary clubs like the Improv in LA, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club in NYC, and Helium in Buffalo. In January 2019, Laura and her sister launched a successful podcast called “Family Therapy” which attempts to show that the dark and comedic sides of mental illness are not mutually exclusive.

Rob Bebenek

Our headliner to wrap up the night is Rob Bebenek. After appearances at the Just For Laughs Festival and a breakout viral video from Winnipeg Comedy Festival in 2018, (over 1.9M views on YouTube and 15M on Facebook), Rob Bebenek has asserted himself as one of the brightest new voices to come out of Canada. Quick wit and a keen eye for observation, highlight a comedy skill set that is becoming a force on stages across North America, and has audiences wanting more. As a finalist in SiriusXM’s Top Comic, Bebenek asserted himself as a major player in comedy and has since imposed his brand on Theatres, clubs and colleges, and rightly so.

The man is flat out funny.

From Kitchener Ontario, Bebenek AKA Ol’ Bebsie, has been drawing acclaim across Canada earning himself appearances on MTV and opening concert series for Bob Saget, Burt Kreischer, Charlie Murphy, Steve-O, and Gerry Dee, to name a few.

To best ensure the safety of guests and staff at this event, seating will be limited according to current COVID regulations. Also, due to the new regulations coming into effect September 22, proof of vaccination and valid ID will be verified for admission. Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note.

How does an individual prove they are fully vaccinated if they are an Indigenous person and haven’t consented to providing their data to COVAX?

Ontario will support implementation of vaccine certificates for Indigenous communities whether or not they have opted to enter their data into COVax, while maintaining Indigenous data governance, control, access, and possession principles.

What if I don’t want to disclose my vaccination status?

It is at the discretion of the individual to determine whether or not they would like to disclose their vaccination status. Should they make the decision not to divulge this information, they will not be permitted to access settings that require proof of vaccination.

In settings where you have to be vaccinated to attend, is a recent negative test sufficient to attend if you are unvaccinated?

A negative COVID-19 test or recent COVID-19 infection does not entitle a person to enter these settings, with narrow time-limited exceptions for testing. For the period between September 22 and October 12, 2021, it is intended that people attending wedding or funeral receptions at meeting or event spaces will be able to provide a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test from no more than 48 hours before the event as an alternative to proof of vaccination. The only exemptions are for unvaccinated people with medical exemptions and people under 12 years old will also be permitted to enter these settings.

Please note that this is a 19+ event.
