Taste of Ontario Yurt Dining Experience

One booking is available every Saturday starting January 15, 2022 for the Taste of Ontario Yurt Dining Experience. Arrival time is 530pm-6pm. Your booking is from 530pm-9pm with the last call at 9pm. A minimum of 8 guests and a maximum of 10 guests are permitted in the yurt. See Taste of Ontario Bubble Dining Experience for groups of 4 or 6. 

The menu is offered at $160/guest for 7 courses. Beverage pairings can be added for $30 extra. Additional beverages are also available a la carte. Designated Drivers non-alcoholic beverages are free. 

For this dining experience, Chef Wesley Quehl and his team have created a menu focused on the flavours of Northern Ontario. Nothing tastes as good as the freshest and best ingredients we can source out of our backyard. We are connected to these foods and flavours because we live where they are made and grown.

Featured ingredients include beef from Penokean Hills, Ontario veg, Trout from Milford Bay Smokehaus, Maple Syrup from Wasauksing First Nation, award-winning cheeses from Gunn’s Hill and/or Fromagerie Kapuskoise, ultra-local honey from Totally Raw Honey, and of course, selected beers from our brewery as well as ciders and spirits from top notch producers. The feature items are cooked from scratch with great care and the drink pairings are curated to showcase the best of the best!

Our servers will make sure you are well attended to. We think of this as a hosted party, where you are the master of the yurt hosting your guests to a feast! Bring your slippers for a cozy winter boots-off experience and let us spoil you! Perfect for birthday parties, small group bubbled office parties or other celebrations with your closest friends. Yes! The yurt is heated and cozy!

All experiences are booked on a first come, first served basis. To make a booking, choose the date in the pull-down selector. Bookings are available until the end of March. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit per booking for cancellations. If you are required to cancel, we will issue a gift card for the deposit amount for use in the future and give you priority on a future booking for a Yurt or a Bubble Taste of Ontario Dining Experience.

The Fine Print

This is a 19+ experience. Bookings must be made at least one week in advance. The tasting menu is available Saturdays only. Cancellations resultant from the everchanging implications of COVID will be issued a gift card for the deposit amount for use in the future and we will give you priority on a future booking for a Yurt or a Bubble Taste of Ontario Dining Experience. We reserve the right to change or substitute menu items based on availability.
