Beer Festival FAQ

Is the Festival accessible?

Yes, 98% of the event grounds are accessible.

We have one accessible washroom indoors.

Support persons are welcome to provide services or assistance with
communication, mobility, personal care, medical needs or access to facilities.

Support persons are not required to purchase an admission to the Festival but are required to purchase tokens for food and beverages.

How do I get to the Festival?

Don't drive! If you do drive, carpool. Go park at one of the approved offsite parking areas and walk from there. Take the shuttle bus Friday night or Saturday. Walk! Ride your bikes! Scooter-gang over! Get dropped off at the front gate! No helicopter landings nearby please!

Where should we park?

THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE FESTIVAL. There are parking lots nearby which have safe, approved parking for festival guests. You can park there and enjoy a short walk or shuttle bus ride to the event! Please note the limitations at these locations listed on the map. There is a drop-off zone by the festival entrance.

What should I know about the shuttle bus?

The Shuttle Bus will be NOT be running for the Friday afternoon session.

It will be running continuously on Friday from 5:00pm - 10:30pm. On Saturday, it will be running continuously from 11:30am-10:30pm. 

It will run route from the brewery out to the nearby parking lots and to the hotels at the south end of Parry Sound.

Can I buy tickets to multiple sessions?

Sure! But please note that we clear everyone out of the festival area between sessions so our staff can have a well deserved break and get some food. So you’ll need to take a break for an hour and then come back for the next session.

Yay! I bought a ticket! What do I need to bring for admission to the festival?

You will need to print your ticket and bring it with you or have the QR code of your ticket open on your smartphone and your ID.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Tickets can be bought up to and during the event through our website capacity permitting. Some sessions sell out as there is a maximum capacity for each session.

We recommend you buy your ticket in advance to ensure you will be able to enjoy the festival.

​What is included in my ticket?

When you arrive at the festival entrance you will be given admission to the festival, a branded sampling glass, and two tokens.

What if I bought a ticket and I can't attend?

All tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are transferrable using the ticket app we are using. Do a kind thing and gift your ticket to a friend!!!

Who are the live music acts this year?

It's a surprise! But don't fret! This is one of the areas we keep investing more in each year to make this a great event!

How much do additional sample tokens cost?

Sample tokens will be available to purchase $2.50 per token including tax.

Is the event cash only?

No, we accept cash, debit, Visa & Mastercard to purchase tokens at token sales booths at the festival.

Will anything other than beer be available to sample?

Yes, we will also have a local cidery's products available as well.

What size are the samples?

Samples are 4 ounces or 8 ounces and must be served in your festival glass. Generally, a 4 ounce pour will be one token and an 8 ounce pour will be two tokens.

Vendors may charge double the usual number of tokens for certain special pours.

Do you have an option for designated drivers? Will there be non-alcoholic beverages available?

Designated drivers are still required to purchase a ticket to the festival, once you are inside the festival there will be a station where you can get water and purchase N/A beverages.

Is this event indoors or outdoors? What happens if the weathergets nasty?

This is an outdoor event and the event will run rain or shine so be sure to dress appropriately for the elements!

That being said, there is a BIG BIG TENT for shade or protection from the rain.

If there is sever weather, we reserve the right to shut the event down for safety reasons and close the site.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, well behaved pets are permitted at the festival. We will have a designated poop and scoop area.

Be aware that it will be very busy, with lots of people and loud music so if that doesn’t sound like a happy environment for your pet, please leave them at home.

Can I bring my child?

Children 3 and under are allowed to attend the festival. Other than that this event is 19+.

​What kind of food will be available to purchase?

We have awesome food available at the festival!!! There will be some of our classic items available in a food truck format and some special items made just for the festival!  There are vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options as well.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, your fun friends (not the other ones!), and dress appropriately for the weather!

You’ll also want to remember your wallet and age of majority ID.

There will be water stations available to fill your glass so that you can stay well hydrated.

What should I leave at home?

Please use common sense and don’t bring anything stupid.

No outside food or beverages are permitted.

No bad attitudes are allowed.

Do you inspect bags and backpacks?

Yes- we do! No one will be permitted access without having their bag or backpack inspected at the admission gate.

Can I bring my water bottle or Stanley or Yeti mug?

Simply, NO!

Can I smoke or vape at the festival?

Smoking and vaping is not permitted on the festival grounds.

There is a smoking area outside the fenced area.

You must leave your glass inside the festival and check in with staff at the entrance before exiting and re-entry.

If you are caught smoking or vaping on the Festival grounds, your admission to the grounds will be revoked and you will be required to leave the Festival.
