OCTOBER 2025  FEATURE ARTIST

Guy St. Julien

Guy was born in Ottawa and grew up in Toronto's Cabbagetown. He now lives in Mckellar just east of Parry Sound. 

As a young boy he found solace and escape from peer pressure in art. He sketched for decades and with the help of Fran Rutke's art classes and learned to paint wildlife and local landscapes in water colour.

"As an artist, I'm not scared to use any medium. Rock, steel, wood, paint, antlers, glass. Anything that comes my way, I will tackle it and I will achieve it."

Guy makes picture frames and furniture with local historic barn board and his pieces can be found far and wide thanks to tourists from all over the world visiting his gallery.

Guy can be found fishing on nearby lakes or at his gallery at 591 Highway 124.

Art Prices

All artwork is priced individually. Please note that Trestle does not charge artists for hanging or a commission on sales. We think of our wall space as public art space. All proceeds go to the artist directly. Trestle does not perform any transactions for the artists and the artwork must remain on the wall for the duration of the show.
